Thailand Jianfa PV Project Delivered On Schedule! Our 5000A High-Current Busway Shines in Southeast Asia Market

2025-08-05
Under the scorching sun at Thailand' s PV base, the final section of LCMC-5000A/4P busway was precisely installed, marking the successful delivery of our high-current busway series for the Thailand Jianfa 200MW PV power plant. Battling 55°C feels-like temperatures and tight deadlines, our project team broke through tropical PV engineering bottlenecks with innovative technology, laying the "power artery" for one of Southeast Asia's largest single-unit PV plants.

Solving Tropical Challenges: Customized Busway System Overcomes Three Major Hurdles

*Pain Points: Tropical corrosion / Complex terrain installation 5000A-level high-current transmission*

Located in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment, the Thailand project demanded extreme corrosion resistance and current stability. Confronting monsoon construction challenges, our solution included six categories of customized busways and supporting equipment, ensuring efficient power transmission for one of Southeast Asia' s largest PV plants.

Our specialized "Tropical-Enhanced" busway solution features:

IP65-rated terminal boxes

Weather-resistant copper bars

Seismic-flexible connectors

Certified under IEC 61439 for tropical climates, it guarantees safe

operation at 45°C/95% RH.

Green Impact: The "Power Highway" Reducing 220,000 Tons of CO2 Annually

Upon completion, the project will:

Generate 280 million kWh yearly (powering 120,000 households)

Cut CO2 emissions by 220,000 tons (equivalent to planting 1.2 million trees)

Vs. traditional cable systems, our busway solution:

Saves 42% cable tray usage

Reduces land excavation by 35%

Lowers lifecycle costs by 28%

Strategic Expansion: Deepening ASEAN's New Energy Market

This delivery marks our breakthrough in Thailand's PV sector with the first 5000A+ busway order. Using this project as a springboard, we will promote integrated smart power distribution solutions for PV plants across ASEAN markets over the next three years, driving large-scale adoption of China's 5000A busway technology in ASEAN's solar sector.
